A Message to Judas Priest Here's a message for the band! I wouldn't bother spending a single penny that Judas Priest puts out on any album, cd, or otherwise paraphernalia, as long as the ungrateful "Ripper Owens" remains in the band! Clearly his vocal ability stands loud & clear, but his gratitude for where he stands today is pathetic, he didn't get where he is today by chance, not by luck either, TWO people worked very hard to get him the recognition and the opportunity of a life time, and not a mere thank you, or any type of contact has been made. Makes you wonder how he treats the fans? Thanks to those TWO certain people, Tim is living his dream. Too bad "the band" and it's "management" has to keep everything so hush hush. The interviews and stories of how he got here are bull****, and now a movie's in production as we speak, what are they basing it on? Not the real truth, just the bull**** they think is the truth, no one knows the whole truth, except TWO girls, Tim, Scott and the band. How 'bout give credit where credit is due? I know damned well the band is thankful, they have been presented with their new, young lead back to heavy metal. So your welcome Glenn, KK, Ian, Scott & Jayne. And for "Ripper" it's pathetic that you lack the poise to acknowledge where, how and from whom you got your big break. A nobody from the middle of Ohio doesn't fall from the sky and land in England in the recording studio with Judas Priest and become their new lead vocalist, not without a story behind it...Let's "Unleash" the story, it lye's in the "East"...

I have always had a soft spot for them and although I'm a lot older now, I can still listen to Sad Wings.. or Stained Class and get a buzz. I am more of fan of the older Priest, the days of "Sad Wings of Destiny" and "Rocka Rolla", in my opinion these are two of the greatest albums of all time. I am more into the ballads not so much the newer Priest, I bought "Jugulator", being a fan and I wasn't that impressed. The earlier Priest seemed to have more depth in their writing. Anyway I hope you don't mind my ramblings, though I do miss Rob's wailing voice, there is nothing to compare with it. Priest has touched a part of my being and for that I give thanks. Message: I have been a Judas Priest fan since 1980. Congrats to Priest for their recent return to the realms of metal with their latest effort Jugulator. At first, some of the new riffs on this LP were a bit complex to get into, but after a few replays, songs like the title track Jugulator, Bloodstained, Death Row, Burn In Hell, Abductors, Bullet Train, and the mellow-then killer finale Catherdral Spires truly rock with the best of Judas Priest. New lead singer Tim "Ripper" Owens is certainly a great replacement for former front man Rob Halford. Owens voice sounds very similar to the former singer and his screams can certainly blend in well with the Priest sound. From start to finish, Jugulator rocks with the best of today's heavy rock artists. This Lp is a great continuation in my book from 1990's Painkiller and deserves a B . Also, the Jugulator character is a fine addition to Priest's Metal God's Hall of Rock alongside the Hellion, the Metallian, Turbo Lover, the Iron Fist that Rams Down, and the Painkiller. Although some fans and critics will and probably already have panned this version of Priest, give them the credit for returning to the Metal/Rock world. Anyone who thinks this Lp falls short of energy and Priest sound, should take another serious listen!!!!! This Lp is as updated as it could be for Judas Priest and true fans should not be disappointed.
Best of Luck to Judas Priest in 1997/98 and I�just hope their new record label can give them the boost that most bands today need to continue and be recognized!

Message: When I was younger, about the age of 14/15 I`ve been a big Priest fan. Then I turned my faves into Punk and Hardcore, but I never gave up listening to Priest (my best friend - CHUCKSTER - is more freaky on Priest then anybody else)for all the time until now. At the moment it`s right before my birthday in march (I`ll be 22 this year) and I`m freakier then ever on JUDAS PRIEST. I`m looking forward to all the following albums and to all tour which will be follow. I`ve been into Metal all the years, some points of view changed but I came back and it`s greater than ever. Greetings to all who read this, to CHUCK, the Halford in Berlin and of course the "men" from Priest. Cheers!
